Old Studio Map:
The above map gives a good indication of how the layout of Elstree Studios used to be prior to the demolition work which took place there in 1991 after property developers Brent Walker, the then owners, sold off part of the site. Sadly, all of the buildings from the right hand side of the red line of the map (left) were all demolished and a Tesco's supermarket, car park and petrol garage were errected in their place. However, all of the buildings (except Elstree House - which were once used as offices by Hammer Films - in section M ) from the left hand side of the red line in the map (left) survived and are still being used to this day at the studio complex.
Incidentally, The George Lucas Stage complex was later built on the area of section E (top left) of the above map which says 'LOT'.
