
Dancing On Ice:
Dancing On Ice is a great family show hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. Each series, Ice skating duo Torvill & Dean train a team of top celebrities in the art of dancing on ice. The celebrities and their professional partner then compete live each Sunday on ITV1 in the hope of gaining a place in the final and ultimately being crowned the winner of the series.

- Dancing On Ice will have a spin-off show this year. Entitled Dancing On Friday, the show will be hosted by GMTV's Ben Shepherd and Loose Women's Coleen Nolan on Friday nights on ITV1 at 8pm.
- Dancing On Ice returns to ITV1 on Sunday 10th January 2010 at 6.45pm.

Here are a list of facts which you may or may not know about the Dancing On Ice:
- The series is hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
- Professional ice skaters Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean help to train the celebrities for the series.
- The show was originally entitled Skating With Celebrities.
- The series series is made in Stage 2 which is part of The George Lucas Stage complex at Elstree Studios. The production is made next door to the Big Brother studio, which is situated close to the Big Brother house.
- The final of Dancing On Ice 2009 was broadcast from The George Lucas Stage (Stage 2) at Elstree Studios on Sunday 22nd March 2009.
- The final of the first series in March 2006 received thirteen million viewers.
- The show has been commissioned up until 2011.
- Series 5 will begin on Sunday10th January 2010.
- Previous celebrities to have taken part in the series include: Bonnie Langford, Duncan James, Tamara Beckwith, John Barrowman, Suzanne Shaw, Michael Underwood and Kelly Holmes.
- The training rink for the television version of Dancing On Ice is situated in Stage 5 at Elstree Studios.
- A spin-off live touring version of the show successfully plays arenas around the UK.
